FEATURE: Make Me

Make Me is an online platform for design creators, brands, manufacturers and consumers offering an easy way to download, design, make and share digital design. Make Me lets people choose how much they want to participate in the design and making process. Make Me features exclusive designs curated by top design brands, along with designs uploaded by the public from around the world. All designs can be rated, and many can be customized.

Designs are connected to the nearest recommended manufacturers, but can also be produced by the downloaders themselves. There is both low- and high-tech execution, ranging from paper cutting at home to 3D printing at a high-tech facility.

The Make Me home page is a store overview. Here products can be filtered by categories and design brands, or browsed by how recently they’ve been produced, by price or by popularity. Every product, design brand and designer has its own personal page. Every product is ratable and has its own ranking.

When can I join?

The launch and offer to participate in Make Me will start during SXSW in March 2012, when designers and brands are invited to share their creations through the Make Me website.
