FEATURE: Skylines

Skylines, http://skylin.es, is the worlds first search engine for real time photos, currently indexing over four million photos each day. Photo services analyzed include Instagram, Twitter, yFrog, Lockerz and Twitpic. A unique photo ranking algorithm provides Skylines’ customers (content partners, feed licensees, developer and consumers) with the most relevant photos from the continuous visual data stream.

Skylines was launched in May 2011 at Techcrunch Disrupt New York (where it was the only European finalist) and has won Vodafone Mobile Clicks NL 2011. So far, three products have been launched in beta: a website at http://skylin.es, an iPhone app and an Android app. A widget for website owners and a public API will be released soon.
